A new report, Focus on Families from National Statistics (where else?) states among other things that:

  • The most healty people are the ones that live in a partnership relation.
  • London has the highest proportion of single parents in the UK - 22% of all families compared with 13% in certain other areas.
  • The biggest families are still in Northern Ireland, where 25% of the families has three or more children - compared with 18% in UK in total.

The first conclusion is quite interesting. Do people in partnerships simply have healtier habits or is it the relationship itself that gives these effects, what do you think?
