About onkel-mario
Born in the south of Germany, I have spend a wonderful childhood in Weingarten, a nice town in the beautiful area of "Oberschwaben" close to the Alps and the Lake of Constance.
After the "Abitur" I went to Berlin to study communications at the University of the Arts, and learn about life in the city. Cycling and partying around our capital, I got involved in interesting projects such as "Töchter und Söhne" and "Initiative Sozialmarketing" and others. After almost six years there it is still a place, where I feel at home.
During studies I have spend some time working in advertising in Hamburg and marketing in Paris and after my thesis on "brand valuation" I still did not want my studies to be finished. Hence I started a (pre-ex) MBA at the ESCP-EAP (Paris), which took me to Delhi and London.
And thats where I got involved in the very birth of the kindo family. I work on the german-speaking markets (Germany, Austria, Switzerland) and am a little bit involved in branding as well ;-)

The oldest family tree in the world
What some German archeologists have discovered might well be seen as the oldest family tree ever. A teacher from Förste and an engineer from Nienstedt in the German “Harz” region descent from the same caveman, who lived in the valley as much as 3000 years ago.
Archeologists had found skeletons from the Bronze Age in [...]

Teaming up with .name
Getting emailaddresses is easy, but the free ones have free domains and hence might look a bit cheap or are hard to remember. Having your surname as a domain can be nice for emails as well as for websites, if you have a personal one. And you can share it with your whole family, which [...]

Some nice improvments on the navigation bar on the Kindo tree. The English users are enjoying it for quite some time already, but now it is live in all languages, so we wanted to let you all know about it.
We have redesigned the zoom bar and have split if of from the info box. [...]
